As a production engineer you are responsible for an effective and efficient design of the production process or for making changes to it. You are also responsible for the technical set-up and safeguarding of the production, assembly and/or manufacturing process. In consultation with test engineers you devise a solution/improvement for technical bottlenecks. Furthermore, the implementation of improvement projects and procedures and the active maintenance of customer and supplier contacts are part of your responsibilities. In addition to dealing with existing processes, you will also delve into new production processes and their feasibility. You communicate in a multidisciplinary way and are able to get to the heart of a problem and solve it jointly or independently.
